Pricing
Priced by volume. Confirmed before loading.
Junk removal is priced by how much of the truck your load fills. Here are typical Denver ranges, including the cases where volume pricing doesn't apply. They help you plan; the hauler we connect you with confirms your actual price.
Load sizes
The standard ranges
| Load size | Volume | Typical price | What that looks like |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum | 1–2 items | $95 – $150 | A couch, a mattress, a treadmill, a fridge |
| Quarter load | ~4 cubic yards | $180 – $290 | A bedroom, a closet purge, a small shed's contents |
| Half load | ~8 cubic yards | $320 – $480 | A single-bay garage, a studio apartment, a deck teardown |
| Three-quarter load | ~12 cubic yards | $450 – $650 | A two-bay garage, a large basement |
| Full load | ~16 cubic yards | $550 – $850 | A whole-house cleanout, an estate job |
| Multiple loads | Over 16 yards | Quoted on site | Large estates, commercial clearing, full renovations |
What a typical price includes
- Typically two crew members, more on larger jobs
- All labour and loading, including from upstairs, basements and back gardens
- Disassembly where a piece won't fit through a doorway
- Hauling and disposal fees
- Sorting for donation and recycling
- Sweeping the space afterwards
What changes the price
- Volume. The main driver, and the only one on most residential jobs.
- Weight, on inert material. Concrete, dirt, brick, tile, roofing and paving are priced per ton because transfer stations charge by weight. A quarter-load of concrete weighs more than a full load of furniture.
- Access, on specific jobs. Hot tubs, pianos, safes and anything needing to come down external stairs. Ordinary house stairs don't carry a surcharge.
- Special handling. Refrigerant recovery is built into appliance pricing rather than added. Suspected bed bugs change the disposal route.
What usually doesn't change the price
- Which metro city you're in — Aurora costs the same as Denver
- Which floor you're on, within reason
- Whether you've sorted beforehand
- Time of day, on standard weekday slots
Heavy material, priced by weight
If your load is mostly concrete, dirt, brick, tile, asphalt or roofing, volume pricing is the wrong unit and it's normally quoted per ton instead. We'll tell you which applies when you describe the job, so it isn't a surprise at the end.
Commercial and recurring work
Contractor work, property-management turnover and recurring commercial pickups are often billed on account rather than job by job, with rates based on volume and frequency. Those terms are set by the hauler. Tell us what you need and we'll connect you with one who does this kind of work.
